Gifts for Your Hard to Buy For Guy

Sharing is caring!

Some men are really hard to buy for.  My husband is no exception.  With Valentine’s Day, our anniversary and his birthday all within about a month I need three pretty good gifts for a guy who says he doesn’t need anything.

How Do You Buy for Your “Hard To Buy” for Guy?

I love personalized ideas.  Something that says I love you a little better than socks or a tie.  (Not that that doesn’t work sometimes.)

Handmade Card

Making a card.  Buying a card.  There is something really special in a handmade card.  Writing something personal instead of just letting hallmark speak for you.

Remember a special moment, say I love you, and spray it with your own perfume.  If you looking for a handmade card check out these ones on Amazon.

Gifts (Personalized)

I’m a huge fan of the personalized gift.  I have two gifts my husband gave me that I will keep forever.  To get you your “Awe!!!” moment, personal is the way to go.  I’m getting this one made for our anniversary.  It’s an aluminum etched wallet love note.  If you want to too but can’t come up with words they have a beautiful prewritten one too.

Remember we’re thinking of your guy and not you. Pretty is nice but remember he might put this at his office and get picked on if it’s not a little masculine.

Get your kid(s) to help.  Pictures are always good.  I did black and white prints of our favorite pictures and strung them on a ribbon as a streamer last year.  Then I folded them up and put them in a little wooden keepsake box. He opened it up and unfolded it.

You know it’s the rich, healthy portions and deliciousness that you definitely shouldn’t eat every day.  Whether it’s red meat and potatoes or triple chocolate cake.

Cook the favorite meal or get it from their favorite restaurant.  It’s one day and totally worth the extra workout later.  Not to mention the way to anyone’s heart is definitely through their stomach.

  1. Great ideas! My guy is all about only wanting things he actually needs, so for holidays like Valentine’s I’ve gotten him so many things engraved or monogrammed — from beer glasses to travel mugs to a watch one year, and he’s always genuinely liked it.
