Sharing is caring!

Bored with nothing to do? Here’s one really cool thing to teach your child when the weather doesn’t cooperate.  My son loves it. We’re having a ton of fun with a home-based preschool gymnastics class.

I was given a copy of the Preschool Gymnastics Course to test and enjoy.  I have an affiliate link to share this product with you.  You can save 25% if you use the code GYMNASTICS25.

I was given a wonderful opportunity to keep my son happy and active this winter.  Rebecca Carr, a mom of two, developed a Preschool Gymnastics Course for home.  She has over 15 years of experience and teaches all ages.  To help with her launch I decided to share this with you. We’ve had so much fun and absolutely love this product.

We’re really enjoying the program.  I’ve had some gymnastics training so it really was very easy to say yes to the opportunity to try out Rebecca’s course.

Trying Out Preschool Gymnastics

Aiden doing his forward roll from preschool gymnastics class

We worked on the classes for about a month.  Each class has a lot of great stuff and Aiden’s rewatched a few because of how much he likes them.

We’ve tried out rolling, jumping, cartwheels, handstands and so much more.  Aiden really likes showing off and will do any of it on demand if asked.

Especially all the jumping.

The best part is we get to keep these classes forever.  We’re doing a class when every he gets bored or if he gets too wound up to go to bed.

How Does This Course Work?

sneak pick of the preschool gymnastics class

You get a teachable course that you have access to for videos and instructions.  Each class has a PDF file that explains what you will be doing and what you need.  None of the classes require expensive equipment. You will want either a carpet or blanket as padding.

Everything is really easy to learn.  You can do it without any gymnastics experience at all.

How Are Classes Set Up?

one of the videos in the preschool gymnastics class

There are 7 classes, about 20 minutes each.  You get one new skill and one new pose in each class.  They are very simple and really fun to do. Some practice, stretching, and then a game at the end.

You can watch the class first or follow along as it plays.  The first class Aiden just wanted to watch. Later that day he wanted to watch again and tried out all the moves.

What Do We Love About this Course?

straddle jump

Aiden truly loves to jump.  One of his favorite parts is all the different types of jumps.  In particular, he loves the straddle jump. He will jump in the park, in the house, or into the pool and every time he tries to go higher or wider.  He didn’t know how to do them before.

Also completely new to him is the forward roll.  He can’t get enough of it and shows off how many he can do in a row.  He does his TaDa on his back.

What Does He Still Need to Learn?

Aiden still hasn’t mastered the bridge or the cartwheel.  Not for lack of trying. He really wants to but hasn’t gotten it yet.

I adore this! How cool to be able to offer a course for kids at home when the weather might be tough or if someone has limits to their transportation. It is really genius and I had no idea it was available – thank you for sharing!

  17. The course looks so amazing and it’s nice that you can take up gymnastics class right at home instead of going to the gym always.

  18. This is such a neat idea! I signed my son up for gymnastics when he was 4 and 5 to burn off energy. This sounds like a great alternative so you so don’t have to brave the elements.
